# Install Talkturo Desktop

> Set up Talkturo Desktop and prepare your first session.

This guide focuses on the end-user setup.
You do not need developer tools to get started.

## Before you start

* Make sure you have access to the Talkturo Desktop app package.
* Close unnecessary apps so your first launch is smooth.

## Install the app

1. Open the Talkturo Desktop installer you received.
2. Move the app to your Applications folder if your system asks.
3. Open Talkturo Desktop.

## Complete the first launch setup

When the app opens for the first time, follow the prompts:

* Sign in to your Talkturo account.
* Allow the app permissions it needs for call assistance.
* Keep the app running in the background while you work.

## Confirm everything works

After setup, you should see the main Talkturo Desktop window and be able to open the Listen view.
